1.Entry into the Summer League is by invitation only. 2.Matches are played on Tuesday evenings and start at 8.00pm. (7.30pm for Clubs using only one table). The match commences with a draw to determine opponents. The home team captain chooses the order of play. Games will run continuously until the match is completed.3.Any requests to accommodate the opposition, i.e. players wishing to play first or last, must be decided by the captains before play starts. The deadline for late arrivals is 9.30 p.m.4.Matches may not be cancelled under any circumstances. Any team unable to commence play by 8.30pm will lose one point and a further point for every fifteen minutes it is in default.5.A minimum of 3 players per team (up to 5 players) will be allowed. A match will still consist of 5 frames. If a team of 3 players, 2 players can play twice, 1 player onceIf a team of 4 players, 1 player can play twice, 3 players onceIf a team of 5 players, all players play onceTeams with less than 5 players will decide which of their players will play twiceIf a team turns up with 1 or 2 players, then players can play twice but will forfeit frames not played6.Competition will be handicapped. See League fixtures/tables for initial handicap which are based on League Cup handicaps.if a player wins 4 consecutive matches then their handicap will be reduced by 7if a player loses 4 consecutive matches then their handicap will be increased by 7the League will also reduce players handicaps if it is felt that players are deliberately protecting their handicaps7.Onus is on home team to referee matches although it maybe necessary for away teams to help 8.Both team captains are responsible for results. Please send in who has won/lost so handicaps can be maintained. League tables will updated to the League website on a regular basis and are available from the Secretary on request.9.B.S.C.C. rules apply with the exception of rule 13c (Miss).10.Players wishing to change teams may do so once only during the league season. Before playing for a new team they must miss two consecutive league games.11.All individual club rules i.e. age, dress etc., will apply to visitors, if in doubt check with the club or the league Secretary before visiting. Any individual in dispute with any club in the league should settle the dispute before visiting. 12.Snooker League positions will be calculated on frames won. If at the end two or more teams are equal on frames then the following criteria will be applied to determine positions: -Most matches won between the teams in questionMost frames gained in matches played between the teams in question Most matches won in matches played between the teams in questionif the tie is between two teams a play-off match will be played (this will only be applied to determine the League winner)Refreshments for visiting teams are at the discretion of the home team
